Call of Duty: Black Ops
This is my favorite part of the sorphage. And all for a number of reasons.

The plot, despite the cranberries, instantly clings to and holds until the finale. After all, David Goyer worked on its creation, who is known for his script for the film Dark Knight.
Huge and diverse arsenal, with many diverse and unique modules. Even outwardly they are approaching the chosen period of the game – rust, wooden elements and artisanship are visible, weight and bulky are felt.
Multiplayer is dynamic and even now it is interesting to stick in it. I liked the change that there is no need to shoot the keys on the gun to get the desired module. Just open it and buy it.
The zombie mode was expanded. Added new cards, prescribed scripts, Easterns … It became more interesting to play and study this universe.

Need for Speed: Underground 2
For me it was the first race on a PC, which I went completely and from time to time I refuge. Of course, I played the first part, but she didn’t hook me, and Most Wanted I only went to the end once and that’s it.
U2 was remembered primarily by the night city, which is interesting to ride and explore. Several areas that open as the plot passes: rich and winding different shops, SMS, money can meet the racer at the next turn or in an unexpected place.
Racing modes can pleasantly surprise with their diversity: drift on narrow and winding roads in the mountains, as in a fast and in parking lots, or on closed tracks. There are still races on certain tracks without Nitro – X racing;as well as a professional league where riders compete on specialized tracks.
The fleet is very rich and there is something to choose to taste. I personally like it on Eclipse, Golf, Nissan Skyline R34 and Peugeot 106. Do not be surprised. In the European version there is a given Peugeot instead of acura.
And you can make a unique car in a unique car thanks to chic tuning. In addition to the body, the spoiler, the colors of the bang and the disks, you can mirrors, exhaust pipes, neon backlight, dashboard, doors, trunk, hang spinner ..
And it’s not just like that. The cooler the body web kit costs, your car has more rating. And to make it really beautiful, you need to show creative, imagination and invest a lot of money and effort.
Soundtrack is the best in the series. He combines the genres of rock, electro, hip-hop. Rise Against, Queens of the Stone Age, Skindred, Killing Joke, Snoop Dogg … and many others gave their songs to the game.
Of the minuses, I can note a controversial solution to car exchange. That is, taking another car, instead of pumped, the money will not return with the details.

Need for Speed: Shift
Another part of the racing franchise. Only now instead of the role of a street racer, we get used to the role of a professional racer. Instead of narrow city streets, we drive along professional routes, instead of street tuning with neon and sound, strict improvements in the car come. And in general, the car has to competently balance for a specific type of racing. A lot of sliders and switches that significantly affect the behavior of the machine while driving. And from a clumsy iron, you can configure a completely controlled unit.
Opponents have become more complicated and smarter, the physics of the behavior of cars, although it remained arcade, but it became better to feel the difference between types of cars better.
Pleased the presence of a view from the cabin. Not every game will allow you to sit behind the wheel of a worked out sportsman or expensive car. And in general, the cars have been worked out great. And during the collision, the screen becomes gray, the bumper is coming, the paint flies, it becomes more difficult to drive in the future ..
The music is well done. Not as cool OST as in Underground 2, but it’s nice to listen and there are very suitable tracks.
Graphics is solid: Machines and effect models still look beautiful. Car details are made at the highest level!
Of the minuses, I can note the confusing menu and sometimes complex trials that do not always manage to go to all stars.
Arcanum: of SteamWorks and Magick Obscura
This is the RPG legend . Having tried it in childhood, I still play it and with each new passage I learn something new and interesting: a new quest, a different way to complete the task, while traveling to find an interesting place with a good loot.
Setting, which magic and technology are combined and live nearby, rare and its elaboration to the smallest detail is very happy. It is interesting to read and study the events that previously took place, the philosophy of races and their customs.
Creation of a character, his pumping, pleased with a rich. 8 races, 8 main indicators, several disciplines, 8 technological schools, 16 types of magic. And no one forbids combining technology and magic. You can create a hero you wish.
Another attentive attitude towards the little things, of which enough. As an example, a female hero will not be able to try on a male suit or apply cologne, or low -growing characters cannot wear large clothes.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
During my long gaming career, I went through a lot of wonderful and not very games, but if they ask me to name my beloved “ten”, Call of Duty 4 will definitely enter there . At one time, she became a real revelation for me.
It would seem that something unusual, previously unprecedented for the industry, there were not very many. Basically, the guys from Infinity Ward rely on the time-tested cinematic moments, spied once a long time ago in the films of Stephen Spielberg. But how it was done … All the seams are neatly fitted, as if from a port master-not a single oblique style. It was evident that almost every mission was worked out from “A” to “I”. Yes, of course, the main killer of the feature in the form of respowed has not yet gone, but it was either reduced to the minimum appearance, or exclusively in the directorial moments. In addition, such game situations were successfully diluted with stealth or half-strostles, which is why there was no effect of fatigue.
Now, at 23, I am already able to constructively explain why Modern Warfare is so good, but then a nine -year -old boy instead of words had only one emotions. I still remember how I went through the game and has not come up with anything better than just start COD 4 again.
You see, in those years, unlike my friends and classmates, I was completely cool about the theme of street raising, tuning, Eron Don Don – in general, all that was proposed by the NFS series. I wanted something else? I don’t know, I didn’t think about it at all. Basically, I then played only shooters – for the same reason I missed a lot of good games in due time.
And then they gave me a disk where there were three games – Flatout 2, Outrun and Driv3r, but I didn’t particularly leave further than the first. You can say that it was love at first sight. Good driving mechanics, a variety of racing tracks and just a chic soundtrack – this was more than enough.
Personally, the game gave me some inexplicable feeling of freedom. Perhaps because it partly reminded me of what I could see leaving a couple of kilometers from the house. I live on the outskirts of the city and therefore I will always be closer to me Flatout 2 landscapes than the Night City Racing in Need For Speed.
The only thing I could scold the creation of Bugbear – the last third of the game, where instead of the usual class of cars “Make yourself”, street raiding and its accompanying attributes appear. Unfortunately, all the flaws of the game begin to be seen there. Obviously, driving mechanics and presented routes are not quite suitable for this setting. However, this is not a review, so I will not focus on this.
And you know, the most funny in my briefly essay is that I did not go to the end of the PC to the PC to the end. Usually, I threw when the races in the urban environment began. I went to PSP – however, there it has a Head on prefix, and it differs only in the soundtrack and a slightly different physical model.
I will “correct” this fall by connecting the steering wheel.
Assassin’s Creed II
Frankly – I did not accept the game immediately and even with hostility. There were many reasons, objective and not very. Firstly, I could not install the game-the load was "endlessly". And since in those years I was a twelve -year -old student, I could afford to judge without even playing. Secondly, despite all the shortcomings, I really liked the first part. This was one of the few action games telling about the Middle Ages and the Crusades, and this topic was always interesting to me.
A little later, I played Assassin’s Creed II with a friend, but the game did not hook me at all. Perhaps because of the era, including. The main character also annoyed too much. Either the Altair case is a skilled warrior, and not this eccentric who puts his father’s suit and running along the roofs.
But then I somehow decided to play the game again, all the more then they gave me a new computer. Eh, as I remember now: New Year’s Eve, I install AC II, and then I just can’t tear myself away for 3 hours. Then they tell me to bend, I go to bed and look forward to the morning to turn on this wonderful game again.
The second part of Assasin’s Creed and the above – not just games for me, but let me go back there, back, where the grass was greener, and the sun was shining brighter – where to never return, but at least you can recall.
